The Hospital Administrator/Chief Operating Officer will perform a ‘general manager’ role, responsible for the day to day operations and administrative activities that impact administration, staffing, technology, evangelism, facilities management and systems throughout the various departments to bring more accountability and teamwork; build a team culture focused on developing and documenting best practices and systems that produce an efficient and patient focused environment resulting in a hospital bearing an exceptional Christian reputation for good medical care; evangelism, finances, and facilities management.
ECWA Hospital Egbe is a rural teaching hospital located in Egbe, Kogi State, Nigeria. As a multi-service facility, the hospital complex is comprised of approximately 33 acres with 68 buildings, and a staff of 120. The complex includes a newly built outpatient department, 6 patient exam rooms, emergency room, intensive care unit, newly outfitted laboratory, x-ray and ultrasound departments; pharmacy; male, female, children’s inpatient wards; isolation ward; operating theatre; maternity; Under 5’s Clinic and family planning; Eye Center; Dental Clinic, and an HIV/Aids Center. The hospital offers a Family Medicine Residency Program, with a School of Nursing and School of Midwifery located in the hospital complex.
Housing has been recently renovated and is of a higher standard than typical African mission stations. There is a swimming pool, volleyball court, basketball court, ping pong, and motorcycles available for recreation.
