Nationally ranked Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine (LUCOM) is seeking its Inaugural Chair of Psychiatry. The selected candidate will build upon the recent successes attained to date in behavioral health and psychiatry, and provide academic leadership, expand and build collaborative relationships and grow innovative programs. LUCOM is approaching the 10-year mark since its inception. Many vital programs and faculty have been added, and there is a tremendous opportunity to be on the ground level toward contributing to educational, clinical and research programs that will be in place for many more years to come. Candidates must have a substantial record of leadership and achievements in academic medicine and education; be board certified in psychiatry; be qualified for appointment at the rank of associate professor or full professor; and be eligible for a license in the state of Virginia.
