James Greeley, DDS, is a lifetime member of CMDA. Originally from Pennsylvania, Dr. Greeley graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Dental School in 1959. He served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years, retiring from the service in 1963. From 1961 to 1964, he served as a full-time faculty member at University of Pennsylvania. After graduate training at Indiana University, he began teaching full-time at Temple University, as well as working part-time in dental practice. In 1973, he joined the faculty at the University of Maryland, where he continued to teach until retiring in 1990. Dr. Greeley was introduced to missions at a young age and served on short-term dental mission trips to third world countries on an annual basis for more than 20 years.
