CMDA’s Life & Leadership Coaching ministry will deliver a 2-day coach training course in conjunction with the West Coast Winter Conference, on Jan. 23-24 in beautiful Cannon Beach, Oregon. Whether you’re a physician, dentist, PA, NP, a student/resident, or a spouse, you’ll love the interaction and learning that takes place in this highly interactive training. Participants consistently comment that they came away from the two-day intensive with new skills; skills that are universally beneficial in any aspect of life. Our training is healthcare-specific, and participants learn coaching techniques in critical listening, asking powerful questions, and practicing skills that help people move forward and achieve goals. Securing your lodging and meals:

First register for the conference online, and then call the conference center (503-436-1501) to secure your lodging and meals. Accommodations include two nights lodging (Tuesday and Wednesday) and five meals (three meals Wednesday, two meals Thursday).

Price for room and board will range from $140 – $197 depending on room selection.

For those arranging their own lodging who want to eat at the conference center, the price for five meals is $60.45.

Speakers

Ken Jones, PCC, is the Director of Life & Leadership Coaching for the Christian Medical & Dental Associations (CMDA). He is an ordained pastor and a certified Physician Life Development Coach. In addition to teaching and developing courses on coaching for CMDA, he spends significant time coaching doctors across the United States every week. He has written four books and numerous articles on topics ranging from parenting and spiritual life to leadership development and marriage issues. He and his wife Randee have three sons and six of the most amazing grandchildren on the planet. He loves to read, write and watch…St. Louis Cardinals baseball.

 

 

 

 

Ann Tsen, MD, ACC, is a board-certified internist and life and leadership coach. She serves on the advisory councils for Life & Leadership Coaching and Women Physicians in Christ, ministries of the Christian Medical and Dental Associations (CMDA).  She has served as a campus advisor for the local CMDA student chapter along with her husband, who is also a physician.  She has experience in domestic and international missions, and currently practices part-time at a faith-based charity clinic where she incorporates coaching into her medical practice. Ann is passionate about using coaching to help women in healthcare move forward in their personal and professional lives. She enjoys working in her garden, playing her guitar, and being a mom to her two young adult children.
