Confronting COVID in NYC: Scenes from the Front-Lines

November 5, 2020 – November 5, 2020

Online | 7:00pm - 8:00pm

Join us for a special presentation with Dr. Lance Plyler! Dr. Plyler is the Director for World Medical Missions at Samaritan’s Purse. As the pandemic was breaking wide-open in New York City, Dr. Plyler and many others went into the center of the storm, set up a mobile hospital and began caring for the victims of COVID. They came not just to heal bodies, but to reach out in the name of Jesus Christ to their temporary neighbors on the streets, in city hall and at Mt. Sinai Hospital. Lance will be interviewed by his son Jonathan, who is a 4th year Med student at UNC Chapel Hill.
