Connections Conference 2019

April 30, 2019 – May 3, 2019

We can’t and don’t do this ministry alone. We are in this together…Connected! Therefore join and connect with dozens and dozens of other CMDA volunteers, staff and local leaders who minister and serve healthcare students and professionals all across the country. The CMDA Connections Conference is a unique time of worship, prayer, equipping and learning.

This annual Connections Conference, which brings together full- and part-time CMDA staff, campus advisors, ministry partners and local CMDA ministry leaders, is an opportunity to be encouraged, equipped and energized in the ministry that we all share together.

Connections Conference will take place right before our CMDA National Convention near Asheville, NC. So once again you’ll have the opportunity to come for the Connections Conference and stay for our National Convention!

From inspiring and challenging plenary sessions with Andrew Walker (Director of Policy Studies for the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention) to fruitful small group discussions and breakout sessions tailored to your ministry context, along with worship and fellowship, you won’t want to miss this time to come together.

Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, just minutes from Asheville, North Carolina, rests the tranquil LifeWay Ridgecrest Conference Center. Natural stone buildings and thick mountain laurel create a restful charm throughout the campus. The sunrises are spectacular, with ambient colors reflecting off the mountain mist. Ridgecrest’s beautiful 1,300 acre campus climbs from valley to mountaintop, offering elegant comfort in guest lodging and meeting space.

Ridgecrest provides a wide variety of lodging choices, from deluxe hotel rooms to RV camping sites. Mountain Laurel’s lodging space offers the best in guest accommodations including telephones with voicemail messaging systems, irons and ironing boards, coffee makers, and easily accessible dataports to stay within an e-mail’s reach of your office. An inviting lobby area provides a warm place of fellowship for guests to get acquainted or to discuss the day’s events.

Ridgecrest is less concerned about keeping you in touch with the nightly news than we are about keeping you excited about the Good News of Jesus Christ. Televisions are intentionally not included within the guest rooms at Ridgecrest. However, they are available in some of Ridgecrest’s lobbies and other group fellowship areas.
