Tentative Tour Itinerary

Important Notice: The tour intends to visit each of the sites listed below. Sites closed because of weather, renovation, or other unforeseen circumstances will not be visited. The tour guide is given the freedom to use their discretion regarding the order in which sites are visited. They may visit sites in a different order or on a different day than listed.

Wednesday, November 3, 2027: Arrival

• Itinerary: Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport. Take the shuttle to our hotel on the coast for dinner and a good night’s sleep.

• Accommodations: David’s Harp Hotel, Netanya or similar (1 night)

Thursday, November 4, 2027: The Coast & Galilee

• Itinerary: Travel up the coast to Galilee. Begin the day visiting Caesarea Maritima, a city built 2,000 years ago by King Herod for the Romans which served as the capital of Judea for 600 years. Drive to the highest point on Mt. Carmel to recall 1 Kings 18 and Elijah’s confrontation with the prophets of Baal and Asherah. Continue to Megiddo, a chariot city of Solomon and the location of Armageddon. Cross the Jezreel Valley to Nazareth, the city where Jesus grew up, before heading to our hotel on the shores of the Sea of Galilee.

Friday, November 5, 2027: In the Footsteps of Jesus in Galilee

• Itinerary: Visit the Mount of Beatitudes, the site of the Sermon on the Mount. Visit Peter’s Primacy on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, where Jesus prepared breakfast for the disciples. Move on to Capernaum, the base of Jesus’s Galilean ministry, followed by Bethsaida (the “House of the Fisherman” and location of the Feeding of the 5,000). In the afternoon, view a 2,000-year-old fishing boat and take a worship boat ride on the Sea of Galilee.

Saturday, November 6, 2027: The Northern Reaches of the Promised Land

• Itinerary: Drive through Naphtali to Tel Dan, the largest karstic spring in the Near East, to recall Judges 18 and 1 Kings 12 (the sin of Jeroboam and the beginning of the Divided Kingdom). View the oldest vaulted mud-brick gate system in the world, dating back nearly 4,000 years. Continue to Caesarea Philippi, the second largest feeder of the River Jordan, where Matthew 16 comes alive. Return to the Sea of Galilee to visit Kursi, where Jesus delivered a man and sent demons into the herd of pigs.

Sunday, November 7, 2027: Down the Jordan Valley

• Itinerary: Start the day with baptisms in the River Jordan, then travel south to Bet Shean, a city of the Decapolis featuring an amazing tel and stunning Roman remains. Continue south past Jericho to Qumran, the community of the Essenes who wrote the Dead Sea Scrolls. End the day at Ein Bokek for a float in the Dead Sea.

Monday, November 8, 2027: Up to Jerusalem

• Itinerary: Start the day at Masada, the final battle site of the Great Rebellion against the Romans. Drive to Ein Gedi, an oasis in the wilderness, and climb Wadi David to pass by fresh spring pools. Head toward Jerusalem, stopping first in Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus, to visit the Church of the Nativity.

• Note regarding Bethlehem: Inside the church is a small area traditionally recognized as the location of the manger. This spot draws hundreds of visitors daily, and the wait to enter can often be 2–3 hours. To ensure we make the most of our time and experience the broader beauty and history of Bethlehem, our group will not be waiting in line to visit this specific area. We appreciate your understanding and hope you’ll enjoy the many other meaningful aspects of this sacred site with us.

Tuesday, November 9, 2027: Footsteps of Jesus & Old City

• Itinerary: Start at the Mount of Olives, followed by a pilgrim walk down to the Garden of Gethsemane via the Church of Dominus Flevit. Cross the Kidron Valley and enter the Old City through the Sheep Gate. Visit the Pools of Bethesda (John 5) and sing in the Crusader Church of St. Anne’s. Walk the 14 Stations of the Cross along the Via Dolorosa, ending at the Holy Sepulchre Church. Leave the Old City through the Jaffa Gate. A bus will then take us into the Samarian Mountains to experience lunch and a camel ride in Father Abraham’s tent before returning to Jerusalem.

Wednesday, November 10, 2027: Mt. Zion & The Jewish Quarter

• Itinerary: Begin on Mt. Zion at The Upper Room, the site of the Last Supper and the Pentecost. Walk to the ruins underneath several churches, remembering where Jesus was imprisoned by Caiaphas. Enter the city through the Lion’s Gate to explore the Jewish Quarter, including the Cardo, the Broad Wall, and the Western Wall. After lunch in the Jewish Quarter, take the bus to modern Jerusalem to visit the Machane Yehuda Market.

Thursday, November 11, 2027: Israel Museum & The Garden Tomb

• Itinerary: Visit the Israel Museum to see the 66 AD model of the Old City of Jerusalem and the Shrine of the Book, home to some of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Head outside the Damascus Gate to the Garden Tomb for a tour, communion, and worship. The afternoon will be free for leisure or personal exploration.

Friday, November 12, 2027: Departure or Extension

• Main Tour Departure: Participants not continuing on the Jordan extension will check out of the hotel and transfer to Ben Gurion International Airport (TLV) for departure flights.

• Jordan Extension Participants: Early morning departure from the hotel to the Sheikh Hussein Border.

Friday, November 12, 2027: Crossing to Jordan & Jerash

• Itinerary: Cross the Sheikh Hussein Border into the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Travel to Jerash (ancient Gerasa), one of the best-preserved provincial Roman cities of the Decapolis. Explore the extensive ruins, which showcase over 2,500 years of human occupation.

• Accommodations: Geneva Hotel, Amman, Jordan or similar (3 nights)

Saturday, November 13, 2027: The King’s Highway & Petra

• Itinerary: Drive along the King’s Highway through the land of Moab. View the hilltop fortress of Machaerus (where John the Baptist was beheaded) en route to Petra. Walk through the “Siq,” an immense sandstone canyon, to enter the rose-red city carved by the Nabateans 2,000 years ago. View the Treasury (El Khazneh) and the surrounding carved structures. Return to Amman for the evening.

Sunday, November 14, 2027: Mt. Nebo & Madaba

• Itinerary: Visit Mt. Nebo, the traditional site of the tomb of Moses, which offers spectacular views across the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea. Continue to Madaba to view the famous Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics, including the earliest original surveying map of the Holy Land at the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George. Cross back into Israel and drive to Jerusalem for dinner.

Monday, November 15, 2027: Homeward Journey

• Itinerary: Check out of the hotel and take the airport transport to Queen Alia International Airport (AMM) for departing flights.

• Note: Departing flights can be scheduled as early as Sunday, November 14, 2027, after 9:00 p.m. for those wishing to fly out directly.
