Israel Tour & Jordan Extension – November 2021

November 14, 2021 – November 26, 2021

ALL CMDA TOURS REQUIRE TRAVELERS TO BE FULLY VACCINATED

Dr. Trish Burgess, Director of Global Health Outreach, and husband Scott

An eye-opening tour for first and second timers alike! This tour combines the basis of Old and New Testament together with features of Modern Israel as well.

Please join us for a trip of a lifetime . . .

“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem….” These words of Jesus (Mark 23 and Luke 13) express the deep affection God has for the land and people of Israel. Whether reflected in the stories of Scripture or in today’s headlines, there is something of historical and spiritual significance about that land. And visiting there makes it all the more special!

Please join us and other CMDA colleagues as we tour the “Holy Land”. We have an excellent itinerary; from Galilee to the Wilderness, visiting sites prominent in the Old Testament and the life of Jesus. We also have an optional extension to Jordan where we will visit additional historical sites including the incredible Nabataean city of Petra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Our guide, Jeremy Bulow, is a wonderful man of God who will help bring the Bible alive right before your eyes. Jeremy has been a blessing to all who have participated in our previous Israel Tours and being with him as we travel makes the trip even more special.

To ensure a more treasured, intimate experience, we are limiting our group size to one bus of 58 people. Your fellowship with the CMDA family and our Biblical education will make a lasting impression. Won’t you join us?

If you would like to postpone or cancel your reservation:

  • If you choose to cancel your reservation, your cancelations and requests for refund must be submitted in writing to the CMDA. Attention Kim Hodge P.O. Box 7500 Bristol, TN 37621-7500 or email kim.hodge@cmda.org.

  • Before or on August 1, 2021: $150 per person
  • August 2 – August 15, 2021: $250 per person
  • August 16 – August 31, 2021: $500 per person
  • September 1 – September 15, 2021: $1,000 per person
  • On or after September 16, 2021: No Refund

Participant safety is always going to be a priority for CMDA including the biblical tours we organize. We are deeply concerned about the COVID pandemic and its impact on individuals throughout the world. Without the availability of COVID vaccines and reduction in COVID concerns globally, tours like this one will be rescheduled until a later date.

Because of the lead time that many CMDA members need to schedule time away from their practice and the length of time it takes to plan and market biblical tours, much of this work is done 8-12 months in advance. In times like these with COVID, we continue to offer a generous refund policy of 100% if a tour is canceled due to continued COVID related concerns.

Thank you for understanding that we are not ignoring the realities of COVID as we announce future tours. We hope that through the COVID vaccine interventions, wearing masks, social distancing, and limiting group gatherings, that all will once again enjoy global travel and opportunities to grow spiritually through biblical tours.

After completing passport formalities we enter the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. We travel to Jerash, one of the best preserved and most complete provincial Roman cities. Jerash, Gerasa of Roman Times, was one of the cities of the Decapolis, a confederation of 10 Graeco-Roman cities dating from the 1st century BC situated in Jordan, Syria and Israel. Known as the Pompeii of the East for its extraordinary state of preservation, the ruins indicate human occupations at this location for more than 2,500 years. We overnight in Amman.
