Dear CMDA leaders,

Each of you serves Christ in your sphere of influence with fellow healthcare students and professionals. My purpose in contacting you is to encourage you to create a group to study our new Faith Prescriptions video series. This resource was developed by CMDA to encourage and equip Christian healthcare professionals to communicate the love of Christ, in word and in deed, to their patients, students and colleagues.

There are several potential ways the Lord could bless the formation of groups to study this material, as follows:

  1. YOU can learn to better integrate the spiritual component of healthcare into your everyday patient care.
  2. Patients across the nation can experience the power of the gospel in their lives.
  3. Healthcare professionals can, by their presence in a group, practically challenge one another with stories of their successes and difficulties in applying the lessons they learn through their study. In other words, iron can sharpen iron (Proverbs 27:17).
  4. Your ministry efforts can be expanded through the relationships that are formed and deepened through the experience of going through this series.

from the current issue of CMDA Today explains the Faith Prescriptions program. To assist you in forming and nurturing a group, we are hosting three informational Zoom meetings. If you have ANY interest in starting a group—either for students or professionals—I encourage you to attend one of the following three identical Zoom meetings:

  • Saturday, October 16 at 9 a.m. ET
  • Tuesday, October 19 at 8 p.m. ET
  • Thursday, October 28 at 8 p.m. ET

Let us know which meeting is best for you by completing this . If none of these dates work for you, just let us know and we’ll work with you to find a time. So we will know who is coming, please respond ASAP.

More than 50 healthcare professionals joined together to create this program, with the hope that it will inspire their colleagues to permeate their patient interactions with the love of Christ. YOU can play a vital role in this process by gathering a group together to study Faith Prescriptions.

Serving With You,
