Hello family around the world! I’m a Family medicine Resident in Spain.

I’d like to ask for prayer. We are having so many cases as you must know. I’m working at the emergency room in my hospital, and we don’t have enough protection equipment. Also my hospital is full.

Pray for my family and my church, my parents are pastors here in Spain (we are from Brazil and have been preaching the gospel here for 25 years).

    Thank you very much!
I’ll be praying for all of you too!

Praying for you this evening in Tennessee, Debbie. God is your refuge and strength. Praying for all those promises in Ps 91: 14-16 to be yours. I also love Ps 63: 8 at times like these, like cholera and HIV/AIDS epidemic in Kenya as I operated for close to 15 years at Tenwek Hospital. God is your faithful protector/defender, Debbie.

I need prayer to fend off overwhelming anxiety. This COVID-19. Elderly parents. No work, no income, a special needs child to care for and now an upset patient and a request for records. 16 years of hard work and it looks like the practice I work for will be folding due to the state ordnance to stay at home.

Last Thursday I received an idea to pray that God would put a stop to the Corona virus and heal all the afflicted on Easter Day. Would love for people to join me in that prayer!

Pray for all those helping deal with the outbreak in the US hotspots, especially healthcare professionals. Praise the Lord for the Samaritans Purse tent hospital set up in NY and for sufficient staffing, largely due to CMDA members volunteering. Pray for CMDA’s mission arms Global Health Outreach and Medical Education International which had to cancel most spring teams and for adequate giving to meet the needs of all of CMDA’s ministries this fiscal year. Pray for all those medical students who have missed important events such as the match day party and even graduation due to the outbreak and that those doing MSIII and MSIV clerkships online will learn what they need to know even though they don’t get to see patients, scrub in surgery, etc. Pray for missionaries and health workers in countries with very limited protective equipment and critical care capabilities.

    • Avatar Shari Falkenheimer on April 8, 2020 at 9:53 am

Dear Lord, I pray for Debbie and all those healthcare professionals caring for patients in spite of the risks to themselves. Give them sufficient courage and trust in you to go on. Encourage them with the knowledge they are making a difference! Let the love and light of Jesus shine forth from all those who know you. Let no one leave this world without a chance to hear and believe in you! Help them rest when off duty and renew their strength for their next time of service. Protect their families. Give them time to eat and rest periodically during their shifts. Help them have peace in you and your love.

Please pray for the economic impact this will have on dental practices, surgeons, their team members. Pray for wisdom as we develop plans to reopen, for the economic impact this will have on our team members, patients, and how we manage cashflow and debt. Practice owners are faced with financial, HR, team management, patient concerns, clinical and how to deal and pay for new OSHA regulations.

I will be opening a new otolaryngology practice in Lafayette IN on Apr 20th. Plans were put in place in November for this—seems like a world away now. Could be scary, but trusting the Lord, who’s always been in control, but a fresh reminder now. Still have payroll to meet, equipment to pay for, my family to support. Now have made plans to live away from them to avoid transmitting COVID-19 to them. Really a strange time. I appreciate this prayer time from CMDA and your prayers for us.

Hello, Please pray for me. Yesterday my doctor called to tell me that my test was positive–I have COVID-19. I’m one of the “vulnerable” people you hear about. (I really hate that word, but it’s correct.) I had a fever on Easter and Monday, but not since Tuesday. I’m coughing, but it’s high up, behind my collarbone. We are praying that it doesn’t go south to my lungs: I’m terrified of hospitals. (No offense to you medical professionals. And I know, fear is NOT of the Lord.)

You see, four years ago I had emergency open-heart surgery (Rheumatic Fever as a child, in 1964.) Rheumatic heart = mechanical aortic valve. Osteoarthritis for 40 years. Other results of Fever: Rheumatoid Arthritis, Fibromyalgia and Rheumatic joint immuno-deficiency. That one visit to ER revealed all this, and I ended up being in hospital for 32 days. (Some pretty horrible things happened there.)

SO…please pray for me, that the Lord Who made me, Who loves me, Who lives in me, Who saved my life on that OR table in ’16 through a beautiful, devout Roman Catholic surgeon (who laid hands on me in the OR)–please pray that our Lord will heal my body completely, a testimony to His love. Please pray that the virus doesn’t get to my lungs, and that I am healed and healthy, soon. Thank you so much, God bless all of you for the work, the ministries that you perform every day, in the name of Jesus.

    Dear brothers,

Please pray for my wife, Rosa Nelly; her throat was swollen, but after the treatment she is much better; but, equally, concerned about her for her contact with cold water; while I, because I am affected by my bronchial tubes, I can practically not collaborate with her. Please, cast out this congestion demon that has me coughing from time to time, and I can’t go to the hospital for fear of getting the covid-19. Thank you.

    In Christ Jesus,

    Emilio León

My grandma, Dora Menchaca has been in the hospital in ICU on a ventilator with the coronavirus. If Jesus does not heal her for his reasons, I’m praying that he saves her and that she will spend eternity with him.

Gracious God. We love you. You are the center of our joy and the strength of our lives. We pray against the spirit of anti Christ, false witness, terrorism, idolatry, sexual immorality, sorcery, leviathan, jezebel, witchcraft, hatred, wars, pestilences, famine, divination and violence. We pray that the spirit of darkness be lifted from America and the scales would be lifted from peoples eyes that they may see the truth and be set free. We pray that the ancient foundations of American be not removed and that you would bring men and women to a place of repentance and forgive our sins. We ask that you surround President Trump with Godly council and that all elected officials and world leaders will have wise counsel and have a heart for God. We ask that you will forgive the sins of our land and heal our land. Have mercy on us all. Grant us your peace and direction. We pray for revival in our hearts and churches. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem and healing for all of those affected by the corona virus. Lord in your loving kindness and tender mercies hear our prayers and let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We give you glory for moving by your spirit and answering our prayers. In Jesus name Amen.

My father, mother, and grandmother tested (+) for covid 19 a few days ago. I’m very worried and scared. Still can’t believe that the virus got to my family. Please pray for our health, that God give us strength and healing. I believe in the power of prayer, and I want to keep believing. Thank you.

My symptoms are a little bit more severe and I am currently in the hospital with inflammation on both of my lungs and only 35 years old. I asked for extreme prayer and healing to get through this and come out stronger than before. I am staying faithful and positive!
