This book is a compilation of stories, metaphors, insights, and personal experiences not organized around a particular theme. Throughout his 41 year career as a minister to students, the author had numerous opportunities to speak and write. Often the inspiration came straight from the humdrum of daily living and the various arenas that defined his life as a husband, father, minister, carpenter, fisherman, hunter, and gardener. The author leans heavily on his admiration and respect for the Scripture drawing parallels between Biblical truth and everyday life lessons.
