Your Privileged Position: Walking in the Footsteps of Jesus as a Christian in Healthcare is a devotional study guide crafted specifically to help Christians in healthcare keep their faith a meaningful and fulfilling part of how they practice. Consisting of an opening section describing essential propositions and theological ideas – but not too many – the book than moves into 17 studies of the 16 chapters of Mark’s Gospel. Each study consists of: an introduction suggesting the major themes and ideas of the chapter; Scripture passages for each event in the chapter, each followed by insightful prompts and probing questions; and then concluding with reflection questions and a concrete assignment for a first step to using what the reader has learned. The format allows for individual or group study.
