Medical Education International (MEI) welcomes anyone with a heart for Jesus and a desire to use their gifts to serve others through healthcare and education. Teams include physicians, dentists, biomedical PhDs, nurses, therapists, audiologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, healthcare administrators, students, residents, fellows, and retired healthcare professionals who remain active in their fields. Spouses and family members are also encouraged to participate, contributing through teaching, translation, logistics, music, youth ministry, encouragement, facility projects, and outreach to communities in need. Whatever your profession, experience, or unique gifts and talents, there is a place for you to serve and bless others through MEI.

If you are interested in serving on an MEI team, fill out an MEI application on one of the available trip opportunities, and submit your CV. This will not commit you to anything but will put you in our database and give MEI more information about your background and interests as well how to contact you. You can also go to our GO page and apply directly to specific opportunities. After receiving your application, the MEI Director and/or Team Leader will contact you to discuss opportunities with MEI that may be of interest.

The role of MEI teams is both professional and spiritual. The IRS requires that CMDA annually report aggregated professional hours donated by specialty. Professional hours include time lecturing, on rounds, mentoring, attending a conference, and all other professional settings and activities. Please indicate the total number of professional hours you participated in on this MEI team, but do not track social activities.

Medical Education International (MEI) equips Christian healthcare professionals to take their knowledge, skills, and faith around the world.
