At this year’s Midwest Fall Conference, we will hear from two excellent speakers: Kristin Collier, MD and Bob Mason, MDiv. Dr. Collier will speak to us about “Christian Courage” in healthcare, highlighting key issues in bioethics and a distinctly Christian response. Rev. Mason will speak to us about the ethical basis for spiritual care in a healthcare setting, as well as the benefits for patient outcomes.
In addition to hearing from our speakers, we will be led in worship by Dr. Jon & Michelle Alley and will have time set aside for meals, fellowship and free time on the grounds of the Maranatha Retreat Center. Activities at Maranatha include hiking, swimming, kayaking, tennis, minigolf, or downtime to take a nap, read a book, or grab a coffee with someone. The conference is spouse and kid friendly, with childcare provided during the sessions.
