R2ED is the Racism, Reconciliation, Equality, and Diversity committee of CMDA. The committee guides CMDA’s Board and members in responding biblically to issues of racism, equality, and diversity, particularly as they intersect with healthcare. It works to ensure CMDA reflects the multicultural body of Christ in its leadership and membership, addresses healthcare disparities rooted in racial, cultural, or socioeconomic bias, and serves as a resource to equip leaders and members to pursue healing and faithful witness during times of social and political unrest.
