Meet Our Guest
Thomas Eppes, Jr., MD, is a native Virginian who graduated from William and Mary in 1974. He graduated from University of Virginia Medical School in 1978 and then joined a family practice in Forest, Virginia in 1981. He still continues to work at this practice today, which is now called Central Virginia Family Physicians (CVFP). He became active in the Medical Society of Virginia in the late 1980s, and he served as present from 2008 to 2009. He has been a delegate to the American Medical Association (AMA) since 2009, including chair of the Integrated Physician Practice Section and current chair of the Virginia delegation to the AMA. He is the current Chair of Collberative Health Partners, a partnership between Liberty University, Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine and CVFP. He is also active in St John’s Episcopal Church, in youth athletics as coach and director and in teaching family life in the local public schools.
