Meet Our Guest
Michael Laidlaw, MD, is a board certified endocrinologist and has been a private practice in Rocklin, California since 2006. In 2017, he became concerned about a strong push to incorporate transgender ideas into the local school system culminating when kindergartens were read the pro-transition children’s book I Am Jazz. He wrote an influential article called “Gender Dysphoria and Children: An Endocrinologist’s Evaluation of I am Jazz.” From there, he went on to publish in medical journals and to speak and educate on the topic in locations such as California, Washington, D.C., the United Kingdom Parliament and in front of the Florida Medial Board. He has worked and testified on behalf of states, including as an expert witness, for sensible legislation to stop the use of harmful hormones, puberty blockers and surgeries provided to minors for the purpose of gender transition of minors.
