THE MISSIONS of CHRISTIAN MEDICAL & DENTAL ASSOCIATIONS®
As a ministry of Christian Medical & Dental Associations,® the overall goal of the Center for Advancing Healthcare Missions is to help develop new ways to advance the cause of healthcare missions and international healthcare, as well as to serve healthcare missionaries in their work for Christ.
As a ministry of Christian Medical & Dental Associations®, Global Health Outreach is a short-term international missions program dedicated to providing healthcare while spreading the gospel by sending medical, dental and surgical teams around the world.
CMDA collaborates with Christian Community Health Fellowship in providing healthcare for the poor in the United States. We initiated this strategic partnership to maximize our efforts by drawing from the strengths of each organization.
During the last academic year, MEI teams taught in Central Asia, Ecuador, Egypt, Jamaica, Kenya, Kosovo, Mongolia, and Sudan. Our teams consist of two to 10 fully-trained healthcare professionals, although some teams may accept residents. Teams teach subjects requested by their hosts.
Partnering Missions, Ministries & Organizations
The Pan-African Academy of Christian Surgeons (PAACS) is a strategic response to the need for surgeons in Africa. PAACS trains African physicians as surgeons to care for the poor and the sick. PAACS also disciples these surgeons to share the love of Christ with their patients to bring hope to those who are suffering.
