Opportunity Description:
Director of Office of Clinical Collaboration and Education (OCCE) at Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
The Director of OCCE is responsible for planning and execution of international and domestic medical outreach events conducted by Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine during the first two years of the medical school curriculum. Events include international trips in Central and South America of 1 week duration and one day events in underserved areas of Virginia.
The ideal candidate will have strong networking and logistical skills. The position is a full-time and based in Lynchburg, VA with periodic international travel of up to 10 days duration to establish and maintain partnerships, conduct pre-trip assessments, and oversee trip logistics. A terminal degree in an education or health related field is preferred.
The Director of OCCE will work directly for the Director of Global Medicine and will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of an academic concentration in Global Medicine.
