If you travel any great distance, you will appreciate that we start on Thursday night along with three extra sessions for those who can come one day early. The main conference starts on Friday night at 8pm.

An iconic destination, Cannon Beach, OR boasts the third largest monolithe Seastack in the world, Haystack Rock, and features a flat, delightful, walkable, three-mile sandy beach providing the perfect place to get away and enjoy the iconic Oregon Coast, rain or shine. And usually, January provides a window of remarkable weather for this event. Google Haystack Rock and Cannon Beach and look at the beautiful vistas. The town of Cannon Beach features many artists, great food and activities including kite flying for all levels, horseback riding, e-bikes to rent, three miles of beach combing for walking and running, and several other beach towns nearby with several historical sites to enjoy. Some beaches nearby allow you to drive right on the sand! Since 1968, Oregon is one of the few states where all beaches, up to the vegetation line, allow the public complete access! What a gift!

Gary Ott, MD is a senior cardiac surgeon at the Providence Heart and Vascular Institute in Portland, OR. He completed a 5 year combined BS/MD program at Penn State University/Jefferson Medical College and a post-doctoral research fellowship in transplant immunology at Columbia University. Clinical training in cardiothoracic surgery was completed at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City followed by academic positions at Oregon Health Sciences University and University of Cincinnati. Current clinical practice is focused on thoracic transplantation and mechanical cardiac assistance. Most rewarding is meeting the physical and spiritual needs of his patients.
Gary is an elder at a local Bible church and enjoys teaching both professional and spiritual areas. He is also active in short-term medical and teaching missions. He is married to Cheryl and has three children and four grandchildren. They enjoy tennis, skiing, music and training therapy dogs. |

Jun Gerundio Delgado, MD is an orthopedic surgeon working as consultant, international relations and mobilization with Ignis Community-Pyongyang Medical School Hospital’s Pyongyang Spine Rehabilitation Center (PYSRC), Pyongyang, DPRK. Dr. Jun Delgado received his B.S. degree from the University of the Philippines, M.D. from the University of the East-RMMC College of Medicine and Residency at the University of the Philippines – Philippine General Hospital, Manila, Philippines. He was an assistant professor at the University of the City of Manila College of Medicine from 1988-1995 and the CMO of Christian Medical Specialists Services (CMMS) from 1989-1995. He worked in Vietnam from 1995-2005 doing Community Health Education program and as Medical Director for East Asia with Plesion International, a US-based NGO. Dr. Jun worked in China from 2010-2020 as general manager of a medical business Shenyang Jiali Business Consulting Company. He is a lecturer at LIGHT (Liaoning International General Health Trainers) of In His Image Hospital in Shenyang, China. He is currently working in DPRK training medical doctors on the management of children with developmental disabilities.

Katy Faust is the founder and president of Them Before Us, a global nonprofit movement advocating for the inherent right of children to be raised by their mother and father. She frames marriage and family not primarily as religious or adult concerns, but as fundamental matters of justice for children.
An outspoken voice in family policy debates, Faust publishes and testifies widely across media platforms. Her articles appear in outlets such as Newsweek, USA Today, The Federalist, The Public Discourse, WORLD Magazine, The Daily Signal, Washington Examiner, The American Mind, and The American Conservative. She also serves on the advisory board of the Alliance for Responsible Citizenship. Her written works focus on defending children’s rights within cultural and ethical conversations:
