Dr. Phillip Aday graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1986. He served as a general dental officer in the U.S. Army for eight years with tours in Missouri, Texas, South Korea and Oklahoma. After eight years in the army, Dr. Aday began a general dental practice in Oklahoma and retired after 27 years of private practice. He has served on more than 40 overseas mission trips with Global Health Outreach (GHO) on six continents. He is scheduled to serve on five GHO teams this year, and he is also volunteering with the Body of Christ community dental clinic in Belton, Texas. His goal is to continue serving domestically and internationally using dentistry as a means to share the gospel.
Dr. Greg Ekbom is a retired general and vascular surgeon who was born in Minnesota, then trained and practiced in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In 2011, he returned to his Minnesota roots and served as Director of Clinical Education at Bethel University PA Program for seven years. During this period of time, he began annual short-term medical mission trips to both Chogoria, Kenya and Goma, DRC with a focus on teaching surgery. He retired from Bethel in 2019 and started a non-profit called Dignity for the Amputee International (LimbFit.org). Their goal and mission is to build prosthetic fabrication labs, provide teaching and materials for local trainees, and support and encourage the amputee and their families and communities, sharing the love of Christ and gospel of grace in Africa and developing countries.
Dr. Lorraine Milio is on the full-time faculty at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Department Gynecology and Obstetrics, Division Maternal-Fetal Medicine. She is board certified in gynecology and obstetrics, maternal-fetal medicine and addiction medicine. She is also the Obstetrical Director of the Center for Addiction and Medicine and Attending in the HIV and Pregnancy Program at Hopkins. She became a Christian as young child, which was renewed at age 18. She has been involved mostly in independent Christian churches over the last 50 years after being raised Catholic. She has been involved in missions since medical school and in Medical Education International since 1990.
