Meet Our Guest
Timothy Kanne is currently a medical student leader at Edward Via College of Medicine in Auburn, Alabama. In his own words, “As best I can remember, I was saved when I was five. God continued to work in my life through good and bad times as I grew up and started college at UGA. After graduating, I worked at an orthopedic clinic in Valdosta, my hometown, for three years before starting medical school. During that time, I met my wife Leanna. We met at my home church, which is where she went to church during college. After 10 days of dating, we knew we were in love. Six months later, we were engaged. Six months after that, we were married, and we’ve been happily married ever since. On December 16, 2022, I was diagnosed with widespread appendix cancer during an emergency surgery, but because God is writing my life’s story for His glory, treatment is in the rearview and He has made his presence known every step of the way.”
