Dr. Sam Alexander is a retired reproductive endocrinologist, having practiced in the Denver, Colorado area for 35 years. He was raised in a Christian family and was born again as a child. He was led to get involved with CMDA’s Medical Education International (MEI) 20 years ago after feeling called to share the knowledge he had gained through education and experience. Being open to serving anywhere, Mongolia was suggested to him. He knew nothing about Mongolia except for some recollection that it was a nomadic culture, had a lot of camels and the Gobi Desert. Dr. Alexander still lives in the Denver area with his wife, traveling frequently to visit their two children and five grandchildren.
