Dr. Tim Morgenthaler is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine. He served as the Director of the Center for Sleep Medicine at Mayo Clinic from 2016 to 2024. He is a past President of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and has received the Academy’s Nathaniel Kleitman Distinguished Service Award for contributions to the field of sleep medicine. Dr. Morgenthaler also holds roles in healthcare quality leadership, currently serving as Vice-Chair for Quality at Mayo Clinic with a focus on Global Quality Consulting. He is father to 5 and grandfather to 5 children, and is married to Robin, his bride for 40 years.
She received an M.Div from Trinity International University and served briefly as a part time assistant pastor. Her pastoral calling played out with medical students meeting weekly in her home for Bible study and fellowship. She completed a D.Min from Gordon-Conwell wtih a thesis project, “Maximizing Faith Development in Physicians during Internship.”
Jane also studied at the Fall Creek Abbey in Indianapolis where she received her certificate in Spiritual Direction. She practices out of her home and church in Arvada, Colorado.
