Meet Our Guest
T. Bob Davis, DMD is a dentist and pianist extraordinaire. Having earned a Doctorate of Dental Medicine and practiced general dentistry for 53 years, he is highly respected in the dental profession, not only locally and statewide, but also nationally and internationally as noted by inclusion in fellowship in the four national and international dental honor organizations. As one of only about 3,000 dentists in the U.S., he has attained the distinction as Master in the Academy of General Dentistry. He has led dental mission trips for more than 44 years to Mexico, Nicaragua, India and Guatemala, mentoring over 1,500 dental students and 500 dentists, giving most of them their very first dental mission trip experience from which they have often branched out on their own. Dr. Davis is a four-time Dallas Dentist of the Year and has been nominated four times for Texas Dentist of the Year, serving as the 2014 Texas Dentist of the Year. While managing the many years of raising children and building a private dental practice, T. Bob served a total of 45 years as a youth worker in college/dental school and in both churches where he was a deacon. Ministry through the piano medium is a natural talent given by our Heavenly Father to T. Bob, a talent he has polished and refined to inspire folks young and old toward the love of Jesus. Davis is a DMD graduate of the University of Alabama School of Dentistry. He received his BA in chemistry from Samford University, and an AA from Mars Hill University. He has served as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force and is married to Janis. The two have three grown children and seven grandchildren. Dr. Davis is a native of Alabama but has lived in Dallas, Texas all of his professional life.
