Meet Our Guest(s):

Ryan T. Anderson, Ph.D., is the President of the Ethics and Public Policy Center. He is the author or co-author of five books, including most recently Tearing Us Apart: How Abortion Harms Everything and Solves Nothing. Previous books include When Harry Became Sally: Responding to the Transgender Moment, Truth Overruled: The Future of Marriage and Religious Freedom, What Is Marriage? Man and Woman: A Defense, and Debating Religious Liberty and Discrimination. Anderson received his bachelor of arts degree from Princeton University and his doctoral degree in political philosophy from the University of Notre Dame. His dissertation was titled: “Neither Liberal Nor Libertarian: A Natural Law Approach to Social Justice and Economic Rights.” His research has been cited by two U.S. Supreme Court justices, Justice Samuel Alito and Justice Clarence Thomas, in two Supreme Court cases. In addition to leading the Ethics and Public Policy Center, Anderson serves as the John Paul II Teaching Fellow in Social Thought at the University of Dallas and the Founding Editor of Public Discourse.

Jamie Bryan Hall is the Director of Data Analysis and a fellow in the Life and Family Initiative at the Ethics and Public Policy Center. He is the lead author of the largest-known study of the abortion pill, finding failure in both safety and efficacy under real-world conditions far greater than disclosed on the FDA-approved drug label. In addition to his work on various social issues, he also supports the work of other EPPC scholars. Jamie joined EPPC last year from the Heritage Foundation, where for nearly a decade he researched a wide range of issues including welfare, poverty, immigration, and education. Jamie began his career in the George W. Bush Administration, where he served with the Central Intelligence Agency. He holds a Bachelor of Arts cum laude in applied mathematics (with a specialization in economics) and a Master of Arts in statistics, both from Harvard University.
