Dr. Sandy Christiansen is the National Medical Director of Care Net, a Pro Abundant Life ministry that empowers women and men considering abortion to choose life for their unborn children and find abundant life in Christ. Dr. Christiansen has over 34 years of experience as a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist, clinician, educator, speaker, and writer. Her writing and speaking efforts have focused on pregnancy, abortion, and Hippocratic medicine, addressing a variety of forums including the United Nations, the President’s Council on Bioethics, and legislative bodies and providing commentary to national media outlets. Dr. Christiansen values helping affiliates pursue medical best practices, giving a word of encouragement and prayer, and promoting the culture of life.
Most recently, Dr. Christiansen was awarded CMDA’s Educator of the Year award at the 2025 CMDA National Convention in St. Charles, MO.
