Intelligent Design in Modern Medicine
In this episode of The Voice of Advocacy, Dr. Brick Lantz, Vice President of Advocacy and Bioethics, sits down with Dr. Geoffrey Simmons, a doctor of Internal Medicine, to discuss key themes from Simmons’s books What Darwin Didn’t Know (Harvest Publishers, 2004) and Billions of Missing Links (Harvest Publishers, 2007). Drawing from his belief in a creator with intelligent design, Dr. Simmons challenges modern evolutionary explanations commonly accepted in healthcare and science. He argues that the complexity of creation points to an intentional designer and that evolutionary theory fails to account for this complexity. This episode explores long-standing debates between creationist and Darwinian perspectives, examining their implications for understanding the human body, mind, and soul.
