About Our Guest(s)
Dr. Ed Rose accepted Jesus Christ through a hospital Bible study during his fellowship training in 1975 by two faithful pulmonary attendings who continued to disciple him for the remainder of his fellowship. This impressed on him the tremendous importance of spiritual growth through disciple-making. Ed is a past ruling elder, and has been on medical mission teams to India, Bolivia, and Honduras. He continues to teach Bible studies and has developed a ministry specifically devoted to one on three disciple-making. He has recently published a book on disciple-making, Unrelenting Pursuit. Becoming God’s Instruments in Making Disciples. His passion is to encourage others to be discipled and to then disciple others to spiritual growth to bear fruit that glorifies God. Ed is professor emeritus of medicine at the University of Virginia School of Medicine and now sees patients in free clinics. He and his wife Karren have two children and six grandchildren.
