Corey Whittaker, MA: Corey has served in ministry his entire career starting in youth ministry in 1995. He has served Triangle CMDA since 2018 providing leadership, support, pastoral care and pizza for all of our ministries. Corey is married and has two adult children who are both married. His daughter is an OR nurse in Charlotte. His son is a software developer in Denver. Corey has an MA in Missions and Evangelism and one in Professional Counseling.
Mitzi Roberts, MACE served in church and parachurch ministry for nearly 30 years. As an Army wife, she spent many years ministering to military families around the globe. She has spent the past eight years as the Area Director of the Christian Medical & Dental Associations in San Antonio, Texas where she seeks to help Christian healthcare students and clinicians connect their faith and healthcare. She is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary and is passionate about telling the Kingdom stories of biblical women who are hidden in plain sight. She has been married to Mike for forty years, and they share two sons, two daughters-in-law, and two granddaughters.
John Bayon, MTh has been the CMDA Detroit Area Director since 1999 and ministers to health care professionals and students at Wayne State University, Michigan State University School of Osteopathic Medicine, University of Detroit Mercy Dental School, and Oakland University Beaumont Hospital School of Medicine. He graduated from University of Michigan and Moody Theological Seminary.
