Dana Daniel Blake, PT, DPT, OCS, MTC is an Associate Professor and Director of Clinical Education in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. She has over thirty years of experience as a practicing physical therapist across diverse settings, including outpatient orthopedics, acute care, home health, pediatrics, skilled nursing, corporate wellness, and faith-based practice. Dr. Blake holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Samford University, a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the College of St. Scholastica. She is board-certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and holds a Manual Therapy Certification (MTC). Her work includes national and international teaching and publications in ergonomics, anatomy, and professional burnout. Dr. Blake is passionate about whole-person care, prayer in clinical practice, and encouraging those navigating illness with faith and hope.
