Warren C. White, Jr, FACMPE
Warren White only recently retired from being Spectrum Health Lakeland’s (SHL) Vice President, Physician Practices since 2010. As part of SHL’s senior leadership team, he was responsible for strategy and operations of SHL’s 200+ multi-specialty employed physician/advanced practice provider group. Responsibilities include governance, recruitment, retention, physician compensation, acquisitions/integrations of new physician practices, facility development, clinical quality, patient safety, administrative leadership and transformational change.
Warren also served as Administrator for Southwestern Medical Clinic for 17 years before its integration with Lakeland in 2010. Warren holds a bachelor’s degree in management from Central Michigan University and a master’s in business administration (MBA) with a focus in personnel management from the Michigan State University Eli Broad College of Business. He is a Certified Medical Practice Executive and a Fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives.
Warren has presented healthcare leadership and operational topics at numerous Medical Group Management Association seminars in the United States of America. In addition, he has led healthcare leadership seminars in Ecuador, the Dominican Republic, Kenya and Azerbaijan.
Greg Neal, DHA, MSHA, MBA
Greg Neal, DHA is a thirty-plus year veteran of healthcare executive leadership, and currently serves as CEO of Appalachian Orthopedic Associates in northeast Tennessee. His prior experience includes CEO of a mission hospital in the United Arab Emirates and multiple executive roles with an integrated health system in the U.S.
He earned a doctorate in healthcare administration from the Medical University of South Carolina and MSHA and MBA degrees from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, the nation’s number one ranked graduate program in healthcare administration.
Greg’s professional passions include leadership development, nurturing culture, physician collaboration, population health, and accelerating positive change that creates value. He is committed to leading community initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life locally and around the world. Among these include promoting primary prevention of chronic disease and wellness, enhancing opportunities for persons with special needs and disabilities to live to their full potential, global health, and teaching/mentoring the next generation of leaders. He and his wife Beth have two adult daughters.
Scott Dooley, MD
Scott Dooley, MD is a family medicine physician. He served as a missionary for 16 years at Kudjip Nazarene Hospital in Papua New Guinea, serving 9 years as the CEO/Hospital Administrator. His leadership emphasis was to build team leadership and incorporate discipleship in corporate culture, patient care, and outreach. The hospital grew physically through numerous international aid and church projects, as well as through community and government engagement. It became the only faith-based hospital in the country to serve as a provincial hospital. The hospital trained surrounding community members in technical skills and built complex projects without major outside contractors. Scott has also had the opportunity to serve on governance boards, crisis management teams, ministry groups, advisory boards, mentor programs, and more.
Scott returned to the USA in 2019, to a large Federally Qualified Health Center as a physician, medical director of two clinics, and part time administrator. As of Sept. 2022, he is practicing part time medicine to free up time for ministry leadership development. His wife, Gail Dooley, is a certified Christian Life Coach, and Strength's Finders coach and owner of EmbraceTheJourneyCoaching.com. They love finding ways to develop leaders in many different settings.
Christian Healthcare Executive Collaborative (CHEC) exists to:
- Develop an active community among Christian healthcare executives.
- Develop a CMDA presence at secular meetings, such as the American College of Healthcare Executives, Medical Group Management Association, Healthcare Financial Management Association, Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, and others to encourage one another and add other like-minded healthcare leaders to our community.
- Develop resources to help healthcare leaders accomplish our mission.
- Promote Christian truth in the healthcare industry using evidence-based, Biblical principles.
- Encourage Christian mentoring for young and aspiring healthcare executives.
- Support and encourage healthcare executive involvement with medical missions, both domestically and internationally.
