Mission, Medicine, Mate, & Money
Healthcare providers are blessed with meaningful opportunities to make significant differences in people’s lives, as well as with financial rewards and numerous other blessings. Yet, practitioner burnout is very high, and we often do not thrive in our careers.
Burt and Sandy Lee will deliver a series of talks about the importance of balancing the four “M”s in the life of a Christ-follower: Mission, Medicine, Mate, and Money.
The Lees will begin with “Mission”, sharing what it means for them to follow Christ and asking you to consider your “mission” in life.
Burt, drawing upon his 30+ years as a physician, will then talk about “Medicine” and the obvious need for excellence in health care but why it is especially crucial for Christ-followers.
In the third talk, Sandy and Burt will share about the importance of “Mates” in our spiritual journey, emphasizing the role of spouses or friends/family as well as the need for mentors and a larger community of Christ-followers.
The Lees will conclude with “Money,” discussing the importance of financial stewardship as a spiritual discipline. Together, through these four talks, we will explore the importance and implications of each “M” on our life choices and priorities.
