Dr. Krista Stephenson is a general surgery resident at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences who will be pursuing fellowship training in endocrine surgery at Baylor Scott and White after completion of her surgery residency later this year. Dr. Stephenson, a graduate from the University of South Alabama Medical School, became active in CMDA through CMMSA, an affiliate ministry of CMDA in Mobile, Alabama. She quickly realized the value of being surrounded by Christian friends and mentors in healthcare and is grateful for the opportunity to serve in the ministry that has greatly impacted her life and career. Krista is also an accomplished oboist and English hornist and continues to perform professionally as well as teach aspiring musicians. She currently lives in Little Rock, Arkansas and enjoys going on runs and relaxing while listening to music with her two dogs, Sherlock and Lisbeth.
