Dr. Andre’ K. Mickel is a tenured professor, Chair of the Department of Endodontics, and the Director of the Postdoctoral Endodontic Residency Program at CWRU School of Dental Medicine (SODM), where he has served as a Teacher, Researcher, Clinician, Mentor, Advisor, and Friend to countless students and doctors from five continents for nearly 30 years.
Dr. Mickel was inspired to write his first book, entitled Its PROOF TIME, There is Hope, which was published in 2014. It was written out of his own personal brokenness and the desire to help encourage others who are struggling to overcome any adversity. He is grateful to be able to share his life experiences in his capacity as the CWRU SODM faculty advisor for the Christian Medical and Dental Association, where all are welcome to fellowship. Married to his queen Estomarys Mickel, they have four children who have all attended college: Ashley, Andre’, Corey, and the youngest, Alexander, who recently (2024) graduated from CWRU SODM, Dr. Mickel’s home since his dental school days commencing in 1987 until today!
