Pastor Bert Jones, ACC

Vice President of Missions & Member Care
Pastor Bert serves as the Vice President of Missions & Member Care for the Christian Medical & Dental Associations (CMDA) in Bristol, TN. In this role, Bert oversees all the mission outreach ministries of the CMDA as well as the Center for Well-being. Bert also serves as the Chaplain & a Coach for CMDA. Bert is a certified ACC Coach with the ICF (International Coaching Federation). ICF is the gold standard in coaching accreditation. He also holds a CCLC (Certified Christian Leadership Coach) with Coach Approach Ministries (CAM). Since 1988 Bert has led multiple teams across the street and around the world. Bert has traveled on 5 different Continents and to over 36 different Countries to teach and preach the Gospel. He is active in Leadership development and coaching nationally and internationally. His heart is to coach leaders to discover God’s purpose and plan for their lives and reach their God given potential. Bert is the author of the book “A Leadership Journal from a Leader’s Journey” published by CMDA in 2022. He also coauthored the books “Servant Leadership Proverbs” and “Leadership Proverbs” with Dr. David Stevens. Bert is also the author of “Practical Youth Ministry” published by Bristol books. Bert frequently writes and teaches on the subject of leadership. Bert is also a certified instructor for the Perspectives in World Missions Course.
Ann Tsen

ANN TSEN, MD, PCC

Dr. Ann Tsen is a certified Physician Life and Leadership Coach, Coaching Trainer and internist. She coordinates the Life and Leadership Coaching and Coaching Training Programs for the CMDA Center for Well-being and serves on the advisory council for Women Physicians in Christ. She has also served many years as campus advisor for the local CMDA student chapter along with her physician husband. She has practiced medicine and physician coaching in a variety of settings, including domestic and international missions. She enjoys living in the Pacific Northwest, photography and long beach walks. She is passionate about helping healthcare professionals optimize their personal and professional well-being through coaching, coaching training and speaking. Steve Sartori, MD, ACC

Dr. Steve Sartori is a physician life and leadership coach, who helps doctors and other healthcare professionals align with God, optimize well-being and maximize influence. A graduate of The Medical College of Wisconsin, he has been CEO of a private group practice, chief of staff at two hospitals, faculty member for a family medicine residency program, and chief medical officer for a faith-based community health center. He has served CMDA as a board member and treasurer, and has participated in mission trips to Jamaica, Thailand, Romania, Kenya, and Eswatini. He is married, with two adult children, and enjoys traveling and sports. An avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, he can sometimes be seen wearing a cheesehead.

Ken Jones, PCC

Ken Jones joined CMDA in 2005 and is the area director for the San Francisco Bay Area and Redding. In addition to 43 years of pastoral ministry, Ken is an ICF-certified physician development coach and a published author. His work has been published with some of Christian publishing’s most well-known houses, including Thomas Nelson, Fleming H. Revell and Multnomah. He is the 1994 recipient of the Mt. Hermon Christian Writer’s Conference “Christian Writer of the Year.” Ken and his wife Randee were pastors for 37 years before he joined CMDA. They have three sons and six grandchildren.

Darilyn Campbell Falck, MD ACC

Director of Mentoring, CMDA Center for Well-Being
Dr. Darilyn Falck is passionate about coaching and mentoring. She is a certified coach and Mentoring with a Coach Approach Trainer with the Center for Well-Being. Dr. Falck is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with over twenty years of clinical emergency medicine experience and who currently practices telemedicine urgent care. She graduated from Eastern Virginia Medical School and completed her residency in emergency medicine at Loma Linda University Medical Center. She has held various leadership roles including Chair of both her hospital’s Emergency Department and Bioethics Committee, and as Assistant Dean of Student Affairs while serving as medical school faculty. Over the past thirty years, she has led and served in various capacities within CMDA and currently serves on the Board of Trustees. In 2023, she completed Western Seminary’s Advanced Certified Transformational Coach Program and earned the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) Credential with the International Coaching Federation. She uses coaching as a tool to help clients navigate transitions with confidence, gain clarity about their values and strengths, and achieve a greater sense of purpose.

Ron Brown

Member Care Specialist
Ron was born to missionary parents who served on the Texas/Mexico border and Honduras. He developed a burden for missionary kids and majored in biology and secondary education at Asbury College. Ron completed a master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling at Eastern Kentucky University and has done graduate study at Fuller Seminary’s School of World Mission in Pasadena, CA. He has been married to his lovely wife Becky, for 49 years. Together they served ten years with Native Americans in Arizona, six years in Spain and six years doing recruitment for World Gospel Mission on the campus of Asbury College and Seminary. They have four married children ages 46, 44, 42, 30, and 7 grandkids. Since joining Christian Medical & Dental Association (CMDA) in June 1999, Ron assumed responsibility with the Global Health Outreach (GHO) department for the Latin American outreaches, with a special focus on Honduras and the mobile medical unit ministry. In 2007 the focus moved from Honduras to Nicaragua where 10 out of the fifty plus teams GHO sends each year will go. He has led GHO teams to Latin America, the Caribbean, Eastern Europe, N Africa, the Middle East, and the Far East. Ron has trained and mentored GHO team leaders, as well as recruited and organized for the other teams, with the GHO support staff. Teaching, administration, counseling, mentoring and recruiting have been Ron’s heart in ministry. Ron has traveled to over 40 countries on mission trips with World Gospel Mission and GHO. Ron will transition from full time at GHO in July, to part time as an Ambassador and Member Care Specialist for the Center for Well-being. He has a special concern for the over 800 medical missionaries that are part of CMDA membership. He will provide pastoral care for CMDA members in need and assist the Center for Well-Being team in ministering to healthcare professionals. This includes providing prayer, hope, encouragement and spiritual support. He continues to develop personal coaching skills to assist in this ministry. This new ministry is a step of faith as he has been asked to raise his support for this position.

Misty Carter

Administrative Assistant
Misty has faithfully served CMDA for more than 20 years through various roles of ministry, including serving three of CMDA’s mission arms. She enjoyed and served full-time with GHO until stepping down in 2005 to pursue having a family. While raising her family, Misty continued in a part-time role as the Medical Education International (MEI) Administrative Assistant. She is now the administrative assistant for the Vice President of Missions and Member Care. In her role, Misty networks and assists with mission conferences and meetings for CMDA’s mission arms. She also supports the Center for Well-being in the areas of coaching, marriage enrichment and malpractice. This role allows her passion and purpose to merge together by helping others align with God, optimize well-being and maximize influence in a professional setting. Misty lives in Bristol, Tennessee with her husband of 28 years where together they serve their church and community. Misty has been a member of Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) since 1998 and currently serves as a BSF Group Leader in Gray, Tennessee. She and her husband enjoy camping and hiking with their now two adult sons.
