Danielle Shelton, MD

Danielle Shelton, MD, DipABLM, is a family physician, lifestyle medicine leader, educator, and entrepreneur dedicated to helping physicians and patients flourish. She serves as Core Faculty in Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine Resident Program Coordinator in Wesley Chapel, Florida, where she develops innovative models of care centered on upstream, whole-person health, behavior change, and patient empowerment. She is the founder and CEO of Clean Your Plate, a nonprofit focused on nutrition education and preventive health. Dr. Shelton is especially passionate about entrepreneurship in medicine, physician empowerment, and the belief that food is medicine. She advocates for a more courageous and restorative approach to healthcare—one that confronts physician burnout, addresses rising chronic disease, and equips both clinicians and patients to live healthier, more purposeful lives grounded in faith, mission, and sustainable well-being.
