The Christian Healthcare Executive Collaborative (CHEC) is a community of Christians engaged in roles of healthcare leadership, including executives, administrators, managers and clinicians. We are linked together by a common interest in leading well and serving our organizations and our communities through the leading of the Holy Spirit. As a section of the Christian Medical & Dental Associations, the largest fellowship of Christian healthcare professionals, we recognize the unique challenges and responsibility carried by those desiring to be faithful Christian stewards within healthcare teams (1 Corinthians 12:28, Romans 12:8). CHEC seeks to connect and engage Christian healthcare leaders with one another as a source of encouragement and counsel. As good stewards of our callings and our God-given gifts, we are compelled that CHEC would be useful to the kingdom of God generally and by supporting global healthcare mission hospital leaders, specifically.

The Emergency Medicine Section is a group of individuals with emergency specialties that seek to bring more glory to God through their work in emergent and urgent situations wherever they are in the world. The purpose of our group is to unite, network, and embolden our collogues to propel the Gospel forward through the gifts and talents of medicine that God has entrusted to them.

The mission of the CMDA Obstetrics and Gynecology Section is to educate, encourage and equip Christian Practitioners in Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women’s Health demonstrating the love and compassion of the Lord Jesus Christ to patients, to families, to our colleagues, to our communities, and to the world.

Dental Hygienists Section
The purpose of the specialty section for dental hygienists is to provide a community for Christian dental hygienists. The mission is to engage in continuing education, provide volunteer care through CMDA endeavors, and support and encourage each other spiritually and emotionally as we provide care to our patients.

Psychiatry Section
The Psychiatry Section of CMDA strives to To promote fellowship and provide community to support and encourage Christian physicians in the practice of psychiatry, as they explore the relationship between their faith and professional practice. To promote within the church the knowledge and understanding of valid psychiatric approaches to mental health and healing, consistent with Christ’s redemptive love.

The Mission of the Neurology Section is to raise awareness among neurologists, neurology health professionals, neurology residents, fellows and medical students of the great need for neurological care—domestically and globally—and through their response to those needs, to share the gospel.
