Drs. Chad and Etta Nabors, a married couple who met through their campus CMDA chapter, join Dr. Mike Chupp on this week’s CMDA Matters podcast. They will be discussing how and why a group of 12 students from their medical school banded together for their clinicals so they could continue with community, fellowship and Bible study after completing medical school.
Meet Our Guest
Dr. Chad Nabors earned a bachelor’s of science degree in biology/pre-medical from Lee University in 2015 and graduated from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) in May 2020. He is actively involved in several school-sponsored organizations, including American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP), Student Osteopathic Medical Association (SOMA), American College of Osteopathic Internists (ACOI), Student American Academy of Osteopathy (SAAO), American College of Osteopathic Pediatricians (ACOP) and Hispanic Community Medical Outreach (HCMO). In addition, he volunteers his time to dedicatedly serve various clinics and centers and on medical missions. Dr. Chad Nabors was a VCOM SAAO Tutor for a year and has received numerous awards on both the national and local levels.
Dr. Etta Grace Nabors received her title as Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) in May 2020. She has served as the Student Chapter Treasurer for the American College of Osteopathic Pediatricians and as a VCOM Admissions Ambassador, Orientation Leader, Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Peer Tutor and Simulation Center Standardized Patient Intern. Additionally, she has been engaged in medical missions and volunteers at the Sullivan County Animal Shelter. Dr. Etta Nabors is also a member of many professional memberships, including CMDA, and was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society in 2019.
Chad and Etta Grace met through a CMDA chapter and quickly developed a friendship. After four short months, he proposed, and they married two years later. Both share a lot of the same hobbies including game nights with family and friends, March Madness bracketology and their love for animals.
